Bellator Fighting Championships 28 Official Results

No tournament action went down at last night’sBellator 28, an lightweight eliminator for a spot in next season’s bracket took center stage.

The action went down at the Mahalia Jackson Theater for the Performing Arts in New Orleans and aired live on Fox Sports Net.

In the evening’s featured bout, veteran Rich Clementi took on Carey Vanier for the right to compete in Bellator’s season-four lightweight tourney, and early on, it looked like Clementi’s experience would prevail but in the end, two judges saw the bout 29-28 for Vanier, and one judge 29-28 for Clementi.
