Bellator 16: Open tryout winner Tyler Stinson vs. Demi Deeds on April 29th

Tyler Stinson (16-5 MMA, 0-0 BFC), who competed against 72 fighters and won Bellator Fighting Championships’ open tryout in Kansas City, Missori will make his protomtion debut against Demi Deeds (15-7 MMA, 0-0 BFC) at Bellator 16 on April 29th.

The open tryout was judged by Bellator founder and CEO Bjorn Rebney and a panel of other top Bellator talent executives. Participants included former veterans of the WEC, IFL and other top promotions.

Stinson edged 27-year-old Leonardo Pecanha (11-6) in the finals of the tournament to claim his spot t Bellator 16.

Deeds, comes boasting a impresive fight resume with three wins in his last four fights and fourteen of the his 15 wins have come via stoppage, including seven submissions and seven knockouts.

The night’s main card airs live on FOX Sports Net.
