Andrei Arlovski won’t be a part of the K-1 World Grand Prix Final 16

Former UFC heavyweight champion, Andrei Arlovski has revealed that he won’t be competing in the K-1 World Grand Prix Final 16 after all on October 2nd, just days after the promotion made a special point of highlighting his presence. Arlovski was set to face Romanian. Although there has been no explanation to this point as to why he pulled it, it is thought that the promotions inability to pay the top fighters what they demand is the reason behind it.

Arlovski, posting via his Twitter account, said:

“I would like to confirm that I am not participating in the K-1 on October 2nd.”
