“King Mo” Lawal undergoes successful knee surgery, could return in six months

Former Strikeforce light heavyweight champion, Muhammed “King Mo” Lawal has undergone a successful surgery on his knee this past Friday in Los Angeles to repair his anterior cruciate ligament and it looks like he could return as early as six months.

“King Mo’s” physician, Dr. Neal S. Elattrache, speaking to Sherdog.com, said:

“Surgery went very well without any complications. Mo’s knee is stable and he can start rehab tomorrow. I expect a 100 percent recovery.”
