“Feijao” vs. Ovince St. Preux and “King Mo” vs. Roger Gracie at Strikeforce in July

Two new Strikeforce light heavyweight match-ups have been announced after it was revealed that former champion Rafael “Feijao” Cavalcante will now take on Ovince St. Preux while his original opponent and other former champion, Muhammed “King Mo” Lawal will take on submission wizard, Roger Gracie, both on the yet to be announced July 9th card. Sources close to the event stated that the California based promotion have decided to shift around the match-up’s, splitting up the original bout between Lawal and St. Preux.

Cavalcante will be looking to rebound from a disappointing third-round TKO defeat at the hands of Dan Henderson last month. Prior to that he had won the title by stopping “King Mo” Lawal in the third round. Cavalcante beat him on the feet and defended well against the takedown en route to taking the 205-pound title from the man dubbed “King Mo”. Gracie is undefeated at 4-0 overall and recently picked up and impressive submission win over veteran, Trevor Prangley on the promotions January show. He also holds a win over former UFC heavyweight champion, Kevin Randleman.
